Hebrew Month: Av (July--August)
Av means "Father"
Tribe: Simeon means to hear; be concerned
Simeon was Jacob and Leah's second son.
Simeon and his brother Levi rose up and killed his sister's rapist Dinah.
Moses did not bless the tribe of Simeon due to their violence. But they still received an inheritance of land within Judah's land.
There is always a way of redemption even when we mess up.

Av is the 5th month on the Jewish Calendar. (July-August)
This is the month for you to change or for you to disintegrate.
Amos 3:8 The Lion Roars
The month where God destroys so He can build back up.
Listen carefully this month you will hear key impressions that will shift you life if you allow it to.
You have a choice to hear and decide how to develop a new level of discernment or not listen to counsel and advice.
The 9th of Av was the month the Israelite's choose to receive a bad report about the promise land instead of entering the land promised to them by God. They choose to listen to the voice of unbelief, which opened a door of defeat in their lives.
The Jews are caught in a cycle of destruction, during the 9th of Av a window of destruction opens over them.

587 BC Armies of Babylon destroyed Solomon's Temple
AD 70 Romans destroyed the 2nd Temple
AD 135 Final Defeat of Jews by Rome
AD 1492 Jews are expelled from Spain
AD 1492 Jews were deported from Warsaw ghetto to the death camps
AD 2005 Expulsion of the Jews from Gaza
The month of Av was supposed to be the month the Jews entered into the promised land.
Av is a month to celebrate God's goodness.
Due to unbelief the month of Av became instead a month of mourning and destruction.
Av is the month of choices for each of us.
We can choose to enter into a curse with unbelief or break a curse by believing in faith the promises the Lord has for you.
Hebrews 4:1-2
Repentance is when you know that the sin is not being repeated in your life.
Israel's sin was repeated when Jesus came, they tasted the fruits of the age to come and turned back once again in unbelief. The Bible assures us that at some point they will believe and enter into their promise land and the curse of Av will be broken.
Ave presents us with a choice. We can choose our own way or we can listen to and take wise council.
Be very aware of our partnerships during this month.
Watch who you align with.
Through the blood of Jesus all things are reconciled.
Any time we agree with the enemy a root is formed within us. We must also deal with roots in our generational blood line.
All through the year God will give you opportunities to be delivered and set free but you have to choose life.
The Hebrews associate the month of Av with a new level of discernment.
Psalm 23 says He takes hold of the reigns of your life and guides your life with His eye.
Allow the Lord to guide and hone your discernment for those critical days ahead.
